Scott County thanks Magnolia EMS units during EMS Week

County officials on Facebook thanked Magnolia EMS crews of Units 901, 902 and 903 during EMS Week, praising their dedication to serving the local community.

The post said the crews answer calls day and night, respond to emergencies, provide critical patient care and offer comfort during difficult moments. It added that their long hours and sacrifices often go unseen but are deeply appreciated, and included the message, “thank you for your service.”

National EMS Week is an annual observance that recognizes emergency medical services personnel and the role they play in prehospital care, including stabilizing patients and transporting them to hospitals. Local EMS providers are often the first medical professionals on the scene of accidents, medical emergencies and other urgent incidents.

The Facebook post named local officials Mike Lee, Brad Ellis and Joshua Thames. County officials said they are proud to honor Magnolia EMS for their commitment to excellence. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
