Scott County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Class of 2026, urges ceremony compliance
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook congratulated graduating seniors from Forest, Morton, Scott Central, Lake and Sebastopol high schools and asked the public to follow rules at commencement ceremonies this week.
In the post, the sheriff’s office praised students for their hard work and perseverance and encouraged graduates to pursue college, the workforce, military service or other paths. The office said success is built on character, determination and the willingness to keep moving forward.
The agency also urged attendees to consider and comply with rules and guidelines established for graduation events to help ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable ceremony for graduates, families, guests and school staff.
The post was signed by Sheriff Mike Lee, Chief Deputy Brad Ellis and Public Information Officer Joshua Thames. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is the local law enforcement agency responsible for public safety in the county.
