mTrade Park plans fireworks Saturday

mTrade Park in Oxford plans a fireworks show this Saturday, with the display set to begin at 9 p.m., organizers said in a Facebook post. The post urged attendees to bring chairs and blankets to sit on the soccer fields and noted that concessions will be available.

Organizers warned against shoulder parking on Old Sardis Road and Pat Patterson Parkway and said mTrade Park lots will remain open until they reach capacity. The post added that overflow parking is available at Pinelake Church and that mTrade Park parking areas will close at 8:45 p.m.

The Facebook post included hashtags such as #mTradePark, #OxfordMS and #4thOfJuly, indicating the display is part of Fourth of July festivities in the Oxford area. mTrade Park regularly hosts youth sports and community events that draw local families and visitors.

Officials did not provide additional details in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
