Organizers of the Hub City Summer Guide said on Facebook that today’s Popsicles in the Park at Eastside Park in Hattiesburg was canceled because of the forecast and current weather conditions.
The cancellation affects a family-oriented, recurring community event that offers free or low-cost outdoor activities during summer months. Organizers encouraged families to stay safe and said there are still plenty of events planned for the season.
