Lincoln County opens donation drop-off in Brookhaven

Lincoln County has set up a donation drop-off location at 702 Saints Trail NW in Brookhaven, Mississippi, county officials said in a Facebook post. The site will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The post listed items being accepted, including hygiene products, diapers, nonperishable foods, cleaning supplies, buckets, gas cans and chainsaws. Organizers asked people not to bring clothes, bottled water or tarps at this time.

Donation centers such as this typically provide a centralized place for residents and volunteers to deliver needed goods after emergencies or to support ongoing community needs. Brookhaven is the county seat of Lincoln County, and local donation drives are often coordinated with county agencies and volunteer groups to distribute supplies efficiently.

The Facebook post did not include additional details on distribution or contact information. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
