Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office attends Camp Clarksdale First Responders 101 Day

In a Facebook post, the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office thanked Mayor Orlando Paden for inviting staff to participate in Camp Clarksdale’s First Responders 101 Day, saying the agency enjoyed the opportunity to meet with campers and share information about law enforcement.

The post said members of the sheriff’s office showcased the role first responders play in the community and took part in activities meant to educate and inspire youth. The agency said it appreciated programs that connect young people with those who serve and protect.

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement services in Coahoma County, Mississippi, and regularly engages in community outreach events to build relationships and inform residents about public safety roles and responsibilities.

Camp Clarksdale hosts youth programs aimed at education and recreation; events like First Responders 101 Day are commonly used by communities to introduce children and teens to emergency services careers and to foster trust between residents and public safety agencies.
