Historian Charles Payne to discuss Ella Baker’s influence on Bob Moses

Historian Charles Payne will discuss how civil rights activist Ella Baker influenced Bob Moses’ approach to organizing during a History Is Lunch event at noon on Wednesday, September 30.

The discussion will examine Moses’ work with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, or SNCC, and the founding of the Algebra Project. The free event will be held in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums.
