The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum’s annual Pumpkin Adventure will return in October, inviting families to participate in hayrides, explore museum exhibits, pick their own pumpkins and take part in other fall activities.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 7-10, 14-17 and 21-24. The museum described Pumpkin Adventure as a fall tradition for the whole family.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
