The Vicksburg Police Department said two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred Sept. 12, 2026, at around 10:51 a.m. at 2607 Halls Ferry Road.
Keandre Harris, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Janasha Tyler, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Officers responding to the scene located evidence of a shooting in the parking lot near the gas pumps. Shaquille Guise, 26, later arrived at an area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for further treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to the department.
