Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office remembers Sept. 11 victims

The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office commemorated the 2,977 people who died on Sept. 11, 2001, and honored the first responders, law enforcement officers, firefighters and others who ran toward danger to help save lives.

The office also recognized the families who continue to carry the loss and those who serve and protect their communities, saying, “we remember, we honor, and we will never forget.”
