Southern Miss men's basketball will return to the Pensacola Invitational at the Pensacola Bay Center after winning the event last year, the school said. The Golden Eagles defeated North Florida and UT Martin on their way to the title.
Southern Miss will play Nicholls at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, and Valparaiso at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.
The Golden Eagles went 3-1 at the Pensacola Bay Center during the Sun Belt Tournament last season and 5-1 overall in the arena last year. Isaac Taveras scored 32 points in Southern Miss' semifinal game against Troy.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 11, through the Pensacola Bay Center's Pensacola Invitational ticket page.
