Mississippi State baseball to open 2027 SEC schedule against Missouri
Mississippi State will open its 2027 Southeastern Conference baseball schedule by hosting Missouri from March 19-21 at Dudy Noble Field. The Bulldogs’ other home SEC series are against Ole Miss from April 2-4, Texas A&M from April 16-18, Oklahoma from April 30-May 2 and Arkansas from May 20-22.
The Bulldogs’ first SEC road series will be at Georgia from March 25-27, a rematch of the 2026 Athens Super Regional. Mississippi State also will visit Florida from April 2-4, Vanderbilt from April 23-25, Tennessee from May 7-9 and LSU from May 14-16.
The Georgia and Arkansas series are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday. Other series could move to Thursday starts based on the television schedule. The SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 25-30 in Hoover, Alabama.
Mississippi State went 16-14 in conference play last season and finished 43-19 overall. The Bulldogs swept Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, South Carolina and LSU, reached the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, hosted an NCAA Regional and finished the season in a super regional.
Before the 2027 season, Mississippi State is scheduled to play four fall exhibitions. The Bulldogs will face Auburn and Southern Miss at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi on Oct. 9-10 as part of the Hancock Whitney Coast Classic, then travel to Jackson, Tennessee, to play Western Kentucky at 1 p.m. Oct. 18 at Rockabillys Stadium.
The fall schedule will conclude at Dudy Noble Field in late October against an opponent to be announced. Nine fall practices will be open to the public, with dates for fans to see the 2027 team set for Sept. 18, 20, 25 and 27 and Oct. 2, 4, 16, 23 and 25.
