Ole Miss volleyball heads to Memphis after week off

Ole Miss volleyball returns to action Tuesday night against Memphis at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse in Oxford, beginning a stretch of four consecutive matches away from Oxford. The Rebels are 6-2, while Memphis enters at 2-6. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and will stream on ESPN Plus.

It will be Ole Miss’ first true road match of the season and the program’s first trip to Memphis since 2014. The Rebels lead the all-time series 38-32 and won the most recent meeting 3-0 at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center in 2025. Shayla Meyer had 12 kills and eight digs in that match while hitting .273.

Ole Miss enters the matchup after a 3-2 victory over Clemson in the Showdown at the Net. Jorda Crook led the Rebels with 18 kills and a career-high eight blocks, while Carly Paugh set a personal best with 10 blocks. The Rebels hit .300 as a team in the victory.

The Rebels hit .376 in their win over Central Arkansas, their highest hitting percentage in a match since September 2025. Ole Miss has also recorded at least 10 blocks in three of its last four matches after doing so in none of its first four.

Libero Cameron Bradley leads the Southeastern Conference with 180 digs. She recorded at least 15 digs in each of Ole Miss’ first eight matches and ranks fifth nationally in digs per set at 5.29.

Memphis recently welcomed Amanda Hardt back to its lineup after she suffered a season-ending injury against Ole Miss last season. Caitlyn Little leads the Tigers’ offense with 111 kills and 14 service aces, while Hardt has 60 kills. Memphis also returns setter Sydney Marshall and libero Abigail Schlueter.

The Tigers rank near the bottom of the NCAA in blocks per set at 1.52 and opponent hitting percentage at .264.
