Mississippi Christian Choctaws set for competition across five states
Mississippi Christian University’s Choctaws will compete across Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia during a busy week featuring soccer, volleyball, golf and tennis.
The men’s soccer team will host Blue Mountain Christian University on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in an exhibition featuring the junior varsity squads. Women’s soccer will then host Valdosta State on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. That match will be streamed on FloCollege, with live statistics available through the Mississippi Christian Athletics website.
Volleyball will open Gulf South Conference play Friday at 6 p.m. against West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama.
Both soccer teams will travel to Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday to face Trevecca Nazarene. The women’s match is scheduled for 1 p.m., followed by the men’s match at 3:30 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live on FloCollege.
Men’s golf will compete at the Savannah Lakes Invitational in McCormick, South Carolina. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will compete at the Glen Arven Tournament in Thomasville, Georgia.
