Ole Miss pair wins doubles title at Milwaukee Tennis Classic

Ole Miss junior Kai Milburn and sophomore Igor Kudriashov won the doubles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, closing the Rebels’ opening fall tournament with a championship in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Milburn and Kudriashov defeated Ludovico Vaccari and Imran Daniel Abdul Hazli 6-3 in the doubles final. The Ole Miss duo reached the final after two victories Saturday, beating Will Steinberg and David Fix 6-3 in the quarterfinals and Matthieu Chambonniere and Maximus Dussault 7-6 in the semifinals.

Both Rebels also reached the singles semifinals. Milburn advanced by defeating Charlie Spencer in the quarterfinals, while Kudriashov earned his place with a quarterfinal victory over Chambonniere.

Ole Miss is scheduled to compete in eight more tournaments during the fall season.
