Hattiesburg Police host final Popsicles in the Park Tuesday
The Hattiesburg Police Department is inviting residents to its final Popsicles in the Park event of the summer Tuesday, July 28, the department said in a Facebook post.
The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at Robertson Place, at the corner of Charles Street and Katie Avenue. The department said attendees can enjoy popsicles, spend time with HPD officers and take part in one more afternoon of summer activities.
The Hattiesburg Police Department is the municipal police force serving Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Community gatherings such as Popsicles in the Park are part of broader community-policing efforts designed to build relationships between officers and residents and provide a casual setting for conversation.
