Hattiesburg Police Host Popsicles in Park Tuesday
The Hattiesburg Police Department is inviting residents to Popsicles in the Park on Tuesday, July 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Vernon Dahmer Park, the department said in a Facebook post.
The department said visitors can stop by for a free treat and spend time with officers during an afternoon of community fun. The event is open to all ages.
The Hattiesburg Police Department is the city’s municipal law enforcement agency and periodically holds outreach events aimed at building relationships with residents and promoting public safety. Community gatherings like this give residents a chance to meet officers in an informal setting and discuss neighborhood concerns.
