Vicksburg police attend college and career fair signing day

Vicksburg Police Department said officers attended a recent College & Career Fair Signing Day to support students as they take next steps toward future goals and career paths.

In a Facebook post, the department said officers connected with students, educators, families and community partners throughout the event and worked alongside other agencies and organizations investing in youth and the wider community.

College and career fair signing day events typically celebrate students who commit to colleges, vocational programs, apprenticeships or other postsecondary opportunities and bring together schools, employers and community groups to offer guidance and resources.

The Vicksburg Police Department congratulated students on the milestone and wished them success in their future endeavors, and said the department values community partnerships that support youth. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
