Picayune police recruit at PMHS college and career fair

The Picayune Police Department said on its Facebook page that its recruitment team “had a blast” at the 2026 PMHS College and Career Fair, an annual event where local employers and schools meet students exploring postsecondary and career options.

The department said it attends the fair each year to connect with hometown talent and encourage interest in law enforcement careers. The post included the phrase “One more reason to say Roll Tide Roll!”

Local college and career fairs give students a chance to learn about job paths, scholarship opportunities and training programs. Police departments and other public employers often use these events to explain hiring processes, discuss qualifications and build relationships with young residents as part of broader community outreach.

Details about specific hiring initiatives or follow-up events were not included in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
