Organizers are inviting families to a Summer Camp & Program Signing Day under the Big Top on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Junius Ward Johnson YMCA, 267 YMCA Place. The event runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and will bring more than 30 school and community programs together in one location, organizers said in a Facebook post.
The post said attendees can complete on-the-spot sign-ups for summer camps and activities. The family-friendly gathering will also include food trucks, live music and other attractions designed to help families explore local options for summer care and enrichment.
The YMCA has long offered youth programs, summer camps and community services aimed at keeping children active and engaged during out-of-school months. Organizers said the signing day is intended to make it easier for parents to compare programs and register children quickly.
Families interested in attending can go directly to the Junius Ward Johnson YMCA on May 2. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
