Sheriff’s Office thanks Red River Credit Union for TRIAD donation

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office thanked Branch Manager Ms. Charlene Moore and Red River Credit Union for a donation to the office’s TRIAD program, the office said in a Facebook post.

The sheriff’s office described the TRIAD program as an initiative that brings together law enforcement, older adults and community support services to enhance senior safety, reduce crime and help older residents live independently.

Red River Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution that commonly supports local community efforts, and the sheriff’s office said the donation will assist TRIAD’s work with senior residents. The contribution underscores a growing emphasis on partnerships between law enforcement and community organizations to address the safety and well-being of older citizens.

Programs such as TRIAD aim to reduce elder-targeted crime and provide resources that allow seniors to remain in their homes safely. The sheriff’s office said it is grateful for partners who invest in services that make a meaningful difference for local seniors. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
