Senatobia Public Library hosts local author festival June 6
SENATOBIA, Mississippi — Senatobia Public Library will host an Author Fest on June 6 that gives readers a chance to meet Mississippi authors, purchase signed books and hear the stories behind their work, organizers said.
The event will feature writers published through Rose & Pearl Publishing and will showcase a range of genres, including faith-based books, memoirs, childrens literature and Southern fiction, organizers said.
Featured authors include Pat Hardison, author of “Facing the Fire”; Troy Day, author of “The Fruit”; Chilly Billy Howell, author of “Wrestling with Wisdom at the Crossroads”; and Heather Burchfield, author of “Not Here to Be Nice.” Other works on display will include “Floating Thoughts” by Candy Warren, “First Steps of Faith” by Carolyn Wiley and Candy Warren, and the childrens book “Who Am I When No One is Around?”
Organizers said the festival is intended to celebrate local storytelling and connect readers with authors from their own communities. Author festivals and library events often aim to encourage reading, support local writers and foster community engagement. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
