Biloxi hosts annual Community Festival Against Crime Sept. 12
The City of Biloxi will host the Annual Biloxi Community Festival Against Crime on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Point Cadet Plaza, 121 Cadet St., a Facebook post from the city said.
The event invites families to an afternoon of live music, games and activities, along with displays and demonstrations. Organizers said free food, free drinks and free parking will be available.
The post said the festival will highlight programs offered by the City of Biloxi, the Biloxi Police Department and the Biloxi Fire Department aimed at helping residents make neighborhoods and the city safer. Attendees can meet public safety teams and receive safety tips, including information promoted as “How to Say NO to Crime!”
Biloxi is a coastal city on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and community outreach events like this are intended to strengthen ties between residents and public safety agencies. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
