Jackson police celebrate teachers at Lefleurs Bluff

The Jackson Police Department said it celebrated teachers Saturday afternoon at Lefleurs Bluff State Park as part of Teacher Appreciation Week.

The department posted on its Facebook page, “Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate our teachers on Saturday Afternoon at Lefleurs Bluff State Park for Teacher Appreciation Week,” highlighting the outdoor gathering.

The Jackson Police Department is the local law enforcement agency and frequently participates in community events aimed at building relationships with residents and recognizing community contributors. Lefleurs Bluff State Park is a state park that hosts recreational and community activities, and local agencies often use such venues for public events.
