The Gulfport Police Department said residents, families and first responders turned out in force for National Night Out, praising the turnout and weather as the community gathered to strengthen partnerships.
The department expressed gratitude to volunteers and attendees, saying their support and willingness to work alongside police help build a safer, stronger and more connected Gulfport. The post included hashtags such as #NationalNightOut and #GulfportProud.
National Night Out is an annual community-police awareness event designed to promote neighborhood camaraderie and public safety through local gatherings and outreach. The department said it looks forward to future opportunities to connect with residents. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
