Driver Service stations remain closed Friday

Driver Service stations will remain closed Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, a Facebook post said.

The social media message offered no explanation for the closures but advised residents to “Stay warm, and stay safe!”

Driver Service stations typically handle services such as issuance and renewal of driver’s licenses and ID cards, vehicle registration and titling, and driving tests. Closures can disrupt scheduled appointments and delay transactions that require in-person processing.

Customers who planned visits Friday should check the agency’s official website or social media channels for updates, consider using online services where available, or contact their local office to reschedule appointments. The post did not list which locations were affected.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
