Richland Driver Service Bureau closes for remainder of July 9

The Richland Driver Service Bureau said in a Facebook post that it will be closed for the remainder of the day on July 9, 2026, and expects to resume normal business hours the following day. The agency apologized for the inconvenience in the post.

The bureau handles in-person motor vehicle and licensing services for local residents, including issuing driver’s licenses and state identification and conducting related transactions, officials say. Driver service bureaus are commonly used by residents who need new or renewed credentials, address changes, or copies of driving records.

The closure may delay residents who planned to complete time-sensitive transactions in person. Customers who need services are advised to check the bureau’s Facebook page or official website for updates and to consider online or phone options many agencies offer for routine transactions.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
