District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath received a recent award, the Office of the District Attorney for Jackson, George and Greene counties, Mississippi, said in a Facebook post that included photos congratulating her.

McIlrath leads the district attorney’s office that prosecutes criminal cases and represents the state in Jackson, George and Greene counties. District attorneys set prosecutorial priorities, oversee assistant prosecutors and work with law enforcement and victim services, making the office central to public safety and the administration of justice in the region.
