District Attorney praises Class B-82 at North Mississippi training center

District Attorney Jason D. Herring said he taught criminal law to Class B-82 at the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center and praised the cadets for their professionalism and dedication.

“I had the privilege of teaching Criminal Law to Class B-82 at the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center,” Herring said. He called the group outstanding and said they demonstrated a sincere commitment to serving their communities through a career in law enforcement.

Herring said that upon graduation several members of the class will begin serving with law enforcement agencies within the First Circuit Court District. The North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center provides training and certification for aspiring officers who will work across the region.

Herring offered best wishes to the cadets as they complete their training and thanked them for the sacrifices they are making in preparation for public service. This is a developing item and will be updated as more information becomes available.
