More than 60 vaccines administered during Greenville Vaccine Day

More than 60 vaccines and shots were administered during Vaccine Day at Delta Terrace through the Mayor’s Health Council in Greenville, according to the City of Greenville, Mississippi, government.

Mayor Errick D. Simmons received the new COVID shot during the event.

The city thanked Walgreens, the Mississippi State Department of Health, Delta Terrace, the Mayor’s Health Council and other community partners for helping organize the event. Mayor Simmons said, “A wise community is a well-informed community, and a healthy community is a stronger community. Today, Greenville showed that we are serious about protecting ourselves, our families, and one another.”
