Asia Sherron brightens Children’s of Mississippi clinic during sickle cell treatment
Asia Sherron is a staff favorite at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s of Mississippi in Jackson, according to a Facebook post by Children’s of Mississippi at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The post says Sherron is a regular visitor receiving treatment for sickle cell anemia under the care of Dr. Derrick Davis.
Staff members praised Sherron for her bright spirit, the post said, noting that she does not always get a cake but always receives specialized care in a bright, cheerful new clinic space. The post described the facility as designed to serve Mississippi children who need pediatric hematology and oncology services.
