Free health screening event planned for Sept. 26 in Greenville

The Eta Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host Beyond Pink, Check Everything, a free community health screening event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at 1680 Walker Lane in Greenville.

The event will be open to the public, with men, women and children welcome. Services will include mammogram screenings, A1C and glucose checks, cholesterol checks, diabetic foot evaluations and trimming, peripheral vascular screenings and carotid evaluations.

Health education, community resources and opportunities to connect with health care professionals also will be available. Health care providers and community partners are expected to answer questions, provide education and help residents take proactive steps toward better health.
