Deputy Brown apprehends suspects after reported residential burglary
Deputy Floyd Brown responded April 2, 2026, to a call about three masked individuals dressed in black, according to the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office.
A foot pursuit followed, and one suspect was apprehended while carrying a large quantity of marijuana and property reported stolen from a residence. Brown continued investigating and located a suspected getaway driver who was concealing a firearm.
Further investigation confirmed the suspects were involved in a residential burglary, the sheriff’s office said. Multiple suspects were apprehended, stolen property was recovered and a concealed firearm was seized.
