The City of Southaven is honoring the victims and heroes of 9/11 and encouraging residents to continue acts of kindness inspired by the unity and compassion that followed the tragedy.
In a statement, the city said the anniversary is a time to remember both the loss and the courage shown afterward. It urged the community to strengthen its bonds through simple acts of kindness, citing the spirit seen on 9/12.
