Oxford police department honors Sept. 11 victims and first responders

The Oxford MS Police Department commemorated the nearly 3,000 people who died on Sept. 11, 2001, and honored first responders who demonstrated courage during the attacks.

The department recognized firefighters, police officers, paramedics, dispatchers and others who ran toward danger while others were fleeing. It also honored those who died and those who continued carrying the effects of that day 25 years later.
