Very dry air prompts caution with outdoor burning in northern forecast areas

Very dry air is expected to affect especially northern portions of the forecast area through Tuesday, the US National Weather Service Jackson Mississippi said.

Residents should use extra caution with outdoor burning and any activities that could create sparks near dry vegetation. The weather service also urged people to heed local burn bans.
