Severe weather threat to continue overnight in northern Mid-South

The severe weather threat is expected to continue into the overnight hours across northern areas of the Mid-South, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.

An approaching upper-level disturbance is expected to interact with a fairly unstable airmass. Damaging winds remain the primary threat, although marginally severe hail cannot be ruled out.
