Very dry air is expected to affect especially northern portions of the forecast area through Tuesday, according to the US National Weather Service Jackson Mississippi.
Residents should use extra caution with outdoor burning and any activities that could create sparks near dry vegetation. The weather service also advised people to heed local burn bans.
