Elevated heat stress expected Saturday in eastern areas

Elevated heat stress conditions are expected to return across eastern portions of the area Saturday, while limited heat stress is expected to the west, according to the US National Weather Service Jackson Mississippi.

Peak heat index values are expected to be around 105-108 degrees. People who remain outdoors for an extended duration are advised to take breaks and stay hydrated.
