New look planned for Great River Road in Greenville

A new look is planned for the Great River Road in Greenville, according to the Washington County Economic Alliance. The announcement did not provide details about the planned changes or when the work will be completed.

The alliance thanked Marlon Turner for working with it on the project and said it was looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Organizations listed in connection with the announcement include the Mississippi Development Authority, Visit Mississippi, the City of Greenville, the Greenville-Washington County Mississippi Convention & Visitors Bureau, Entergy Mississippi, the Mississippi Arts Commission, Foundation for the Mid South, Rural LISC, South Delta Planning and Development District, The Delta News, Delta Business Journal and Mississippi Business Journal.
