Ole Miss men’s tennis sends Milburn, Landreth to Black and Gold Invitational

Ole Miss men’s tennis players Kai Milburn and Mason Landreth will compete in the Black and Gold Invitational in Nashville from Oct. 2–4. The three-day tournament is the fourth event on the Rebels’ fall schedule.

Milburn, a junior from Queenstown, New Zealand, enters the tournament after teaming with Igor Kudriashov to win the doubles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Milburn also reached the singles semifinals at that event.

During his sophomore season, Milburn recorded 21 doubles victories, including 10 dual-match wins on court one.

Landreth joined Ole Miss this season after transferring from Louisiana. The senior from Lafayette, Louisiana, had a 13-5 dual doubles record last season.

Landreth began his Ole Miss career at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships, where he earned a straight-set singles victory over Georgia’s Eudald Gonzalez.

After the Nashville tournament, Ole Miss is scheduled to compete in the ITA Southern Regional in Auburn, Alabama, from Oct. 9–13.
