MVSU’s Taylor Wooten named to Betty Austin Invitational All-Tournament Team

Mississippi Valley State volleyball player Taylor Wooten was named to the 2026 Betty Austin Invitational All-Tournament Team after the season-opening event hosted by Alabama A&M University.

Wooten provided production and leadership for the Delta Devils during matches against South Carolina State, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State. Her selection is Mississippi Valley State’s first individual tournament honor of the 2026 campaign.

Mississippi Valley State will return to action Thursday, Sept. 10, against Northwestern State at 4 p.m. in the opening match of the Bulldog Bash in Ruston, Louisiana.
