Mississippi Christian lost to Valdosta State 3-1 on Friday at A.E. Wood Coliseum after taking the opening set 25-17. Valdosta State won the next three sets 26-24, 25-23 and 25-16.
Holland Williams led Mississippi Christian with 15 points, 11 kills, a .476 hitting percentage and four solo blocks. Meg Paparella had a team-high 12 kills, along with 10 digs and one service ace.

Samarin Kipple collected 21 digs, while Reese Regner recorded 19 assists and seven digs.
Mississippi Christian will host AUM on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. in Clinton.
