Anthony Jackson was arrested as part of a drug raid near Ellisville, according to the supplied report. Jackson, a former South Jones football player, turned himself in to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department on charges of sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, the Laurel Leader-Call reported.
Jackson had been out on $1 million bond on a charge of killing a classmate before the latest arrest.
