Jackson State’s Micaiah Joubert named to Jackson T. Stephens Cup field

Jackson State University golfer Micaiah Joubert will compete in the women’s individual field at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, scheduled for September 14-16 at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas.

The tournament features six women and six men representing Historically Black Colleges and Universities and U.S. military service academies. The event will have televised daily coverage on GOLF Channel.

Joubert, identified as a Texas native, is among the six women selected. The field also includes returning competitors Emma Tang of the United States Naval Academy and Nevaeh Figueroa of Prairie View A&M University, as well as Lena Durette and Alexis Goboy of Howard University and Vivian Cressman of the United States Naval Academy. Cressman was selected to the 2025-26 All-Patriot League First Team.

The men’s field includes Sascha Robinson of Florida A&M University, who is making his third consecutive JTS Cup appearance; Bear Huff and Francisco Perez of Howard University; Danny Auffant of the United States Naval Academy; Eli Huntington of the United States Air Force Academy; and Tyson Sparks of the United States Military Academy. Perez is a Division I HBCU All-American, while Sparks was selected to the 2025-26 All-Patriot League First Team.
