Lee County Bus Crash Leaves Two Students Injured

A two-vehicle accident involving a school bus that occurred Monday morning has sent two Mooreville School District students to a local hospital.

According to Mississippi Highway Patrol Staff Sgt. Bryan McGee, the accident occurred on Highway 178 between Auburn Road and Mooreville.

The bus has been confirmed as that of the Lee County School District by county officials.

One student was transferred to a hospital by ambulance, and the other student was airlifted.
