Vicksburg police invite public to submit questions for Facebook Live

The Vicksburg Police Department is asking residents to submit questions for an upcoming Facebook Live segment titled “You Have a Voice,” the department said in a Facebook post. VPD leadership will sit together during the segment to answer questions submitted by the community.

Officials asked that questions be submitted only in the comment section of the original Facebook post. The department said questions sent by direct message, posted as comments on other posts or submitted by other methods will not be reviewed for inclusion.

The outreach is part of the department’s community engagement efforts. The Vicksburg Police Department provides law enforcement services for the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and officials have used social media to communicate with residents and to solicit public input.

Residents who want VPD leadership to address specific topics should post their questions in the comments of the original Facebook post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
