Starkville Police invite public to National Night Out after clinic donation

The Starkville Police Department said in a Facebook post that it will host a National Night Out event tomorrow and thanked Animal Clinic of Columbus for a donation to support National Night Out 2026.

The post, shared on the department’s official Facebook page, included the hashtags #NationalNightOut and #NNO2026 and encouraged residents to join the event. The department did not provide additional details in the post.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The event, established in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch, often features block parties, safety demonstrations and opportunities for residents to meet law enforcement.

The Starkville Police Department serves the city of Starkville, Mississippi. Donations from local businesses and organizations, such as the Animal Clinic of Columbus, commonly help underwrite activities, supplies and outreach during community events.
