Vicksburg Police invite community questions for Facebook Live

The Vicksburg Police Department is asking residents to submit questions for an upcoming Facebook Live session titled “You Have a Voice,” the department said in a Facebook Reel post.

VPD leadership will sit down together to answer questions submitted by the community, the post said. Residents are asked to submit questions only in the comment section of the original post; questions sent by direct message, comments on other posts or other methods will not be reviewed for possible inclusion.

The department said the session offers an opportunity for people to raise topics they have wondered about or to seek information about Vicksburg Police Department policies and operations. Community engagement events such as Facebook Live question-and-answer sessions are commonly used by law enforcement agencies to increase transparency and public trust.

Those who want their question considered should comment on the original Facebook post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
