Vicksburg Police Department is hosting a hiring event Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Vicksburg City Auditorium, 901 Monroe Street, the department said in a Facebook post. The department said it is seeking certified police officers, non-certified police officers and investigators and asked applicants to bring required documents.
